SERVERIZZ
Billing and payments

How prepaid billing works

Your balance, what "available" means, and how servers draw from it.

Last verified

SERVERIZZ is prepaid. You add funds to your balance, and what you use is taken from it.

  • Servers, load balancers, reserved IPs, snapshots and NAT gateways are charged by the hour.

  • Shared hosting and domains are paid in advance for a month, a year, or the domain's registration period. You choose whether each renews from your balance or your card.

  • Adding funds is never taxed. Sales tax is charged on what you use.

Available balance

Your available balance is your balance minus any holds.

  • When you order a server or other hourly resource, we place a hold for 24 hours of its cost, tax included. You can see it on the Deploy page as Held at deploy (24 hours).

  • A hold isn't a charge, and it doesn't appear as a transaction.

  • It's released after 24 hours, or sooner if you destroy the resource.

You'll find the numbers in three places:

  • the Dashboard: Available balance, Spending right now (per hour, tax included), Runway (about how many days your balance lasts) and this month so far

  • the Balance card at the bottom of the sidebar

  • Billing, from the account menu
