How is bare metal different from Dedicated CPU?

Dedicated CPU reserves virtual cores for you on a shared machine. Bare metal is the whole physical server: every core, all the memory and every drive, with no other customer on it.

Can I run my own hypervisor?

Yes. Because the machine is yours, you can install a hypervisor and run your own virtual machines. Metal 128 is built for exactly that.

Can I run Windows Server?

Yes, with licensing priced for the machine's cores. Request a quote and we'll include it.

Why isn't Metal 128 in Dallas?

It isn't stocked here. It's available in Chicago and New Jersey once they open, and we can quote a comparable build for Dallas.

Does bare metal bill by the hour too?

Yes. Hourly billing stops at 672 hours, so a full month costs the monthly price. Prices are in USD before sales tax.
