Choosing a region
Which region should I choose?
The one closest to the people who use the server: your customers for a website or store, your office for QuickBooks or a remote desktop. Closer means faster pages and snappier sessions.
Does the region change the price?
No. Every plan and extension costs the same in every region.
Can I move a server to another region later?
Yes. Deploy a new server in the other region and move your data across. Our migration guide walks through it, and hourly billing means you only pay for the overlap.
Why only four regions?
We list only the regions we sell and support. We'd rather open fewer and run them well than list dozens we can't stand behind.
When do Chicago and New Jersey open?
