Connecting to your server

SSH, the root password and the browser console.

With an SSH key

If you added SSH keys when you deployed, connect with:

ssh root@your.server.ip

The address is at the top of the server's page; use the copy button next to it.

With the root password

If you didn't add a key, the root password is on the server's page under Access. Choose Show to see it. It's shown for 24 hours after the server is ready, then removed from our systems, so save it somewhere safe.

For Windows servers, connect with Remote Desktop as Administrator.

Lost the password?

Choose Reset password under Access. This reinstalls the server and erases everything on its disk. If you want to keep your data, change the password from inside the server instead, or sign in with an SSH key.

Browser console

Choose Console at the top of the server's page to open its screen in a new tab. It's useful if you can't reach the server over the network, or when installing from an ISO.

Sending email (port 25)

Outgoing mail on port 25 is blocked on new accounts to prevent spam. To have it opened, choose Request unblock under Access.

SSH keys can only be added when a server is deployed. Manage your saved keys under Orchestration › SSH Keys.
