Servers run on a prepaid balance, so before your first deploy we need a few things. Your Dashboard shows a card called Finish setting up before your first deploy with what's left, and the Deploy page lists anything still missing.
1. Billing profile
Choose Finish billing profile. Then:
Choose Individual or Business. A business adds a company name, and an EIN if you have one.
Enter your billing address. It must match your card, and we use it to work out sales tax. The Tax preview updates as you type.
Add a mobile phone number. We only call it for urgent outage and security issues.
Optionally, add a separate email under Send receipts to.
Choose Save and continue. If we suggest a tidier version of your address, pick Use this address or Keep mine.
Only an account's Owner or an Admin can save the billing profile here.
2. Payment method and first top-up
Add a card or connect PayPal.
Pick an amount: $10 is the minimum, and you can add up to $5,000 at a time.
Optionally, tick Turn on auto top-up so your balance refills automatically when it runs low.
Tick the authorization box and choose Pay and continue.
The money goes straight onto your balance and you get a receipt by email. Adding funds isn't taxed.
3. A short review
When you first finish your billing profile, our team does a quick account review. While it's under way, the Deploy page says Your account is almost ready. You can still configure a server; we keep your choices.
When the review is done, we email you Your SERVERIZZ account is ready, and you can deploy. It usually takes a few hours. Occasionally we email to ask for one quick extra check first.
