Orchestration › ISOs lists installers and live systems you can use for free with cloud servers.
Deploy a server from it: a new server boots from the ISO with an empty disk. Install from the server's Console.
Attach to a running server: the server reboots from the ISO, for installing by hand or rescuing it. Its disk isn't touched unless you change it from the ISO.
When you're done, choose Take it out under Booting from an ISO to boot from the disk again.
Bare metal servers don't use ISOs.
